Badger State Brewing GOES GREEN All Year-Round!

At Badger State Brewing, we take pride in promoting environmental awareness and maintaining a clean habitat year-round. 

Here are a few ways we GO GREEN at Badger State Brewing:

• We utilize retrofitted windows in our warehouse building combined with 100% LED fixtures and bulbs in our facilities, creating an energy efficient space in all our areas.

• Our high pressure steam boiler used in the production of our beers is energy efficient and reliable via steam creation "on demand" when needed as opposed to "constantly on" wasting energy and heat.

• We pride ourselves on growing TWO extensive gardens full of flowering plants and trees! Our once "brownfield" space has since become a pollinator's paradise and haven for beneficial bugs and insects.

• We package our beer in CANS and KEGS almost exclusively - cans being infinitely recyclable and kegs being cleaned and reused to transport beer for years and years using the same container! We are also a PakTech Recycling Drop-Off location for all your used can handles.

• We've reduced usage of plastic bottles by installing refillable bottle stations and instant hot water dispenser systems in our offices and production spaces.

• Our hot snacks include 100% plant-based compostable flatware (by Greenworks Technology Group) in the Tap Room.

• After almost 10 years we still send our spent grains from each batch of beer to local farmers to be mixed in as healthy and natural feed for their livestock.

• We offer both plastic bag and battery recycling bins throughout the brewery.
